RV College of Engineering Admission has released detailed guidelines regarding admission process for engineering programs.
Eligibility criteria & procedure in RVCE
* A candidate who has passed 10 + 2 pattern of examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Computer Science/ Electronics as optional subjects in the qualifying examination is eligible to pursue an undergraduate degree in engineering at RV College of Engineering.
* Considered Entrance Exam : KEA CET / COMEDK / Management seats
* For candidates who are domiciled in karnataka for 7 years or more, Common Entrance Test (CET) is conducted by KEA which is a state agency for candidates. For both karnataka & non-karnataka students aspiring for engineering, dentals or medical seats, Common Entrance Test is conducted by Karnataka Unaided Private Engineering Colleges Association (i.e., COMED-K).
* As per the intake of total 1200 seats, 45% seats are filled by the CET conducted by the Karnataka Examination Authority, 30% are filled through COMED-K conducted by private management association & 25% through Management seats.
