RV Legal Studies Institute Bangalore was established by the prestigious Sikshana Samithi trust of Rashtreeya (RSST). 27 educational institutions operate in the community, and RSST has become a part of the city of Bangalore. The situation in India has changed over time with regard to legal practices and related responsibilities. Today, the industry needs a lawyer's skills, whether criminal, business, civil or cybercrimes. The goal to create a legal institution is to create professionals that are qualified, accountable and fully equipped to meet the industry's needs.
M.C Shivananda Sharma and Meda Kasturi Ranga Setty founded the Rashtreeya Sikshana Samithi Trust in 1940. 79 years ago, only six students started the school with Sri. Sivananda Sharmaji, their first and only teacher. Today, the trust runs more than 26 institutions, with more than 1,800 staff members and approximately 20,000 students.
RV Institute of Legal Studies offers 5 years integrated law courses namely BA.LL.B, BBA LL.B & B.Com LL.B and a 3-year undergraduate LL.B program. The institute is affiliated with Karnataka State Law University (KSLU) and is approved by the Bar Council of India (BCI).
The institute has created its own mark in setting the standard of law education in India. Though an integral part of RSST, it is different from other institution founded under this trust.

RVILS offers 5-year integrated BA LL.B BBA LL.B & B.Com LL.B and 3-year LL.B courses. These courses are thoughtfully designed to meet industry needs and to provide a comprehensive and integrated understanding of the legal industry.
To be eligible for admission to the 5-year integrated BA LL.B, B.Com LL.B, and BBA LL.B programs, candidates must have secured the minimum percentage required by the Bar Council of India (BCI) in their 10+2 or equivalent exam in any stream from a recognized board. For admission to a 3-year LL.B program, the candidate must have secured the minimum percentage required by the Bar Council of India (BCI) in their bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized university.

The RV Institute of Legal Studies hostel provides separate accommodation for boys and girls. The hostel rooms are well furnished walls and well ventilated as well. Each student is provided with a mattress, chair, table, cupboard and bed. The hostel is well equipped with 24/7 RO water facility and security around the campus. The rooms are well accessed with Wi-Fi connection. It provides a mess which serves well cooked and nutritious food to the students. The cooking area is in kept clean and hygienic.
