Admission in SJR Law College

Students who are looking for Admission in SJR Law College can opt for either 5-year BA.LLB course or 3-year LLB course as both the courses are affiliated to the Karnataka State Law University and are approved by the Bar Council of India.The pattern of the programs offered by the institution is semester based and there is a total of 6 semesters for each stream.

Eligibility criteria for BA LLB:

• For General category students, the eligibility criteria are the completion of 12th with 45% aggregate and for SC&ST students it is 40%, from a recognized university.
• Students who have appeared for 12th exams and waiting for results are also eligible to apply and later they have to submit their passing certificate at the time of final admission.

Eligibility criteria for LLB:

• For General category students, the eligibility criteria are 10+2+3 with 45% of aggregate without backlogs and for SC & ST category Students, 40%aggregate without backlogs, from a recognized university.
• Students who have appeared for final year examination, are also eligible and they have to submit a passing certificate at the time of final admission.

The interview will be conducted for those students who meet the eligibility criteria mentioned above.And students selected in the interview will be given admission offer within the timeline.The institution has a well-structured administrative office where the interview and SJR Law College Fees Structure will be handled.

Applicants who want to pursue 5-year BA.LLB course are required to produce the following documents:

• The Transfer Certificate (TC) issued by the previous institution.
• Statement of Marks of the last examination for which the student has appeared.
• Migration Certificate for non- Karnataka students.

Candidates from neighboring state universities who wish to pursue 3-year BA.LLB course has to submit the Certificate of Eligibility from the Karnataka State Law University.
