Suresh Gyan Vihar University (SGVU), popularly known as SGVU was established in 2008 by Rajasthan Government Act No. 16 in Jaipur. Jaipur, also known as the Pink City, has a unique and recognizable presence among India's many popular and most visited destinations due to its aristocratic and dignified culture. Talking about Gyan Vihar- it is unique among peer universities in that it has seven schools on one contiguous campus, all of which have excelled in terms of performance and achievement of goals. This natural environment promotes multidisciplinary collaboration.

- The library of SGVU has a fully Automated Bar-Coding System as well as other multimedia facilities. The library has innumerable physical books and countless E-resources in its repertoire which can be accessed through a Google Play Store App.
- The university campus has 6 hostels among which 4 are allotted to boys and 2 are for girls. The hostel organizes a variety of Sports and Cultural Activities, as well as festivals and College Events.
- Suresh Gyan Vihar University has all the necessary sports amenities like Cricket Ground, a Football ground, along with Volleyball, Basketball & Badminton Courts.
- The cafeteria is well–furnished with comfortable seats and provides sumptuous snacks along with lunch & dinner “Thalis”.
- The University provides two well-equipped Gymnasiums with a physical trainer available around the clock for students to work out.
- The Open Air Theatre built inside SGVU hosts various Cultural & Entertainment Activities, interactive sessions, seminars, debates, and presentations.
