VIT University Vellore was established in the year 1984 with the aim of providing international standard education. The University is currently headed by its founder and Chancellor, Dr. G. Appearing in VIT Entrance Exam is mandatory to enroll into any of the institute’s bachelor of technology programmes. Candidates applying for the M tech programmes must clear the VIT MEE programme.
