B.Tech

  • Mode of Admission: Through VITEEE (VIT Engineering Entrance Examination), Mandatory for all B.Tech applicants.
  • Application Process:
    • Apply online at vit.ac.in
    • Fill in personal, academic details, upload documents, and pay the application fee.
    • Download the admit card and appear for VITEEE.
  • Eligibility Criteria:
    • Must have completed or be appearing for 10+2 or equivalent in 2025.
    • Subjects required: PCM or PCB (depending on specialization)
    • Age: Born on or after 1st July 2003
  • Selection Process:
    • Based on the VITEEE rank
    • Shortlisted candidates participate in online counselling
    • Seat allotment based on rank, preferences, and availability

M.Tech

  • Mode of Admission: Through VITMEE (VIT Master's Entrance Examination)
  • Application Process:
    • Apply online at vit.ac.in
    • Submit academic details, upload documents, and pay the application fee
    • Appear for VITMEE
  • Eligibility Criteria:
    • Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Technology in the relevant stream with a minimum aggregate as specified
    • Final-year students can also apply
  • Selection Process:
    • Based on the VITMEE score
    • Shortlisted candidates are called for online counselling and seat allotment

NRI & Foreign Candidate Admissions

VIT welcomes applications from NRI, OCI, and Foreign nationals for its undergraduate, postgraduate, and research programs. NRI candidates are those whose parents work abroad, while foreign candidates must hold a valid passport (except applicants from Nepal and Bhutan, where it's not mandatory).

NRI applicants must be sponsored by a parent (not relatives/friends) and submit valid passport, visa, and employer certificate of the sponsor.

Eligibility to M.Tech Programmes:

Nationality:

  • The admission applicant needs to be a Indian National and also should have graduated from colleges located in India.
  • NRI/ PIO or Foreign applications must apply separately.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Candidates need to have graduated with a full-time degree from a recognized Institute/University scoring a minimum of 60% or First class for their B.Tech degree programmes.
  • Candidates appearing in their final semester exam or final degree exam in the current year are also eligible to apply.
  • Applying candidates should have completed their year end exams / final Semester before the selection counselling begins at VIT. The candidates should produce the final year marks statement and their provisional degree certificate before the date given by the college.
