VITMEE Counselling
After the exam ends, the institute releases the VITMEE results, a significant step for aspirants. The result showcases the performance of candidates and determines their eligibility for further stages of the admission process. Candidates can access their exam scores and rankings by visiting the official VIT website, where the VITMEE result is released.
Based on their performance in the VIT Master's Entrance Examination (VITMEE), candidates will be shortlisted for online counselling.
VITMEE 2025 counselling process:
- Selection is based on the rank secured in the VITMEE 2025 CBT.
- Selected candidates will be notified via email and SMS for online counselling.
- Online counselling will be held in a single phase.
- Candidates can choose their eligible academic qualification, campus, program, and fee category during counselling.
- Seat allotment is based on VITMEE rank and the preferences given.
- Tuition fee payment is required before eligibility verification.
- Document verification will be done at the time of campus reporting or as instructed.
- Provisional admission is valid only if the eligibility criteria are met.
- No changes are allowed in the allotted campus, program, or fee category after allotment.
- The Provisional Admission Letter will be available in the counselling portal after allotment.
- Candidates who do not attend counselling are not eligible for seat allotment.

- X and XII Std. Mark Statements
- Mark Sheets of all semesters/years of the qualifying degree (up to pre-final/final year)
- Qualifying Degree / Provisional Certificate (if already received)
Certificates
- Transfer / Migration / College Leaving Certificate (Original, if already received)
- Valid GATE Score Card (if available)
- Service Certificate (For sponsored M.Tech. candidates only)
- Community Certificate (for SC/ST candidates only)
- Conduct Certificate (Original)
- Nativity Certificate (Only for applicants from J&K, Ladakh, and North Eastern states)
