Vokkaligara Sangha Dental College is one of the most sought after colleges in India for pursuing a degree in dentistry. The college was founded by the Vokkaligara Sangha in order to serve the weaker section of the society to pursue dental education. During the commencement of this institution, there were only 52 students and now the college has 100 seats for BDS alone. All admissions to the BDS and MDS programs at Vokkaligara Sangha Dental College & Hospital are conducted strictly through the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET), as mandated by the Dental Council of India (DCI) and Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS), Karnataka. Candidates must secure a valid NEET rank and participate in the centralized counseling process.

Eligibility Criteria

BDS

To be eligible for admission to the Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) program at Vokkaligara Sangha Dental College & Hospital, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Educational Qualification: Must have passed 10+2 (PUC or equivalent) with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English as compulsory subjects.
• Minimum Marks: Must have obtained a minimum of 50% marks (40% for reserved categories) in the PCB (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) aggregate.
• Entrance Exam: Must have appeared and qualified in NEET-UG, as per the guidelines set by the Dental Council of India (DCI).
• Age Limit: Must be 17 years or above as of 31st December of the year of admission.

MDS

To be eligible for MDS admission, candidates must have:

• Completed the Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) degree from a recognized institution.
• Completed a one-year compulsory rotatory internship on or before the date prescribed by the authorities.
• Appeared for and qualified in the NEET-MDS examination for the academic year.
