WBJEE 2024

The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board was established in 1962 by the Government of West Bengal. In 2014 it was authorized to conduct Common Entrance Exam for admission to undergraduate and postgraduate Engineering, Pharmacy, and Architecture offered by colleges in West Bengal. WBJEE is conducted once a year in offline mode (pen and paper-based test) and consists of two papers - Paper 1 (Mathematics) and Paper 2 (Physics and Chemistry combined). Both papers have multiple-choice questions (MCQs) with four options. The exam duration is two hours for each paper.

The eligibility criteria for WBJEE is to qualify for 10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects. The candidate should also be a citizen of India and should be a domicile of West Bengal. The WBJEE exam is usually held in April, and the results are declared in May. The candidates who qualify for the exam can participate in the counselling process and get admission into various courses offered by the participating institutes. It is a highly competitive exam which requires a lot of preparation and hard work to score well and secure admission into the top colleges in West Bengal.

WBJEE Syllabus

The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination (WBJEE) is a highly regarded state-level admission exam held in West Bengal, India. The WBJEE syllabus covers a wide range of subjects and offers an in-depth evaluation of a candidate's knowledge and skills across multiple fields.
