WBJEE Exam Counselling

Results

The WBJEE results are typically announced in the month of May-June by the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board (WBJEEB) on their official website. To check the WBJEE results, students need to visit the official website of WBJEEB and enter their roll number and other required details. The result will display the student's score, rank, and qualifying status for admission to various undergraduate engineering, pharmacy, and architecture courses in colleges and universities in West Bengal. Results will be released as Rank Cards, which will include the relevant ranks, total scores, and component scores for Paper I (Mathematics) and Paper II (Physics & Chemistry). By entering their password, candidates can access their rank card and download it. To protect the privacy of each candidate, the Board never releases a rank list.

All candidates who appear in the WBJEE-2024 will receive rank cards with scores. However, not everyone will be given a rank, and as a result, not everyone will be qualified for counselling, for which the Board will choose a cutoff rank and/or score.

Counselling

The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board (WBJEEB) conducts the WBJEE counselling procedure for admission to various undergraduate engineering, pharmacy, and architecture programmes at West Bengali colleges and universities. The following steps are part of the counselling process:

  • Students who have passed the WBJEE exam must register online for counselling by going to the WBJEEB official website. Students must fill up their personal information, academic information, and contact information during the registration procedure.
  • Students must pay the counselling fee online using net banking, a debit card, or a credit card after registering for the counselling procedure. The counselling fee is not transferrable or refundable.
  • After paying the counselling cost, students must list their top-choice universities and courses in that order. Students are free to select whatever many colleges and courses they like. Before the deadline, students must lock their selections after they have filled out the choices.
  • The WBJEEB will assign seats to students by their ranking, the seats' availability, and their top choices. The seat allocation result will be made available on the WBJEEB website.

Candidates can visit the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board's official website and log in using their application number and password to view the WBJEE result.
It is necessary for counselling and seat allocation and acts as evidence of the candidate's performance on the test.
The seat allotment is conducted in multiple rounds, and candidates have the option to accept or change their allotted seats in the following rounds.
