For admission in St Joseph's College Bangalore, application fee of Rs 400 can be paid either by debit/ credit card online or through NEFT transfer in favor of Bangalore Jesuit Educational Society. For any help in filing the online application form, candidates can approach the college with a soft copy of the applicant’s passport size photo, copies of relevant marks cards, UTR number of the NEFT transaction and the personnel at the helpdesk will help them to do the needful.
Once the form is completed & submitted online, an application number gets automatically generated which is displayed on the submission page, an email & sms is also sent to this effect. This number needs to be carefully noted for future reference.
Candidates will receive the Interview Date & Time on email / sms. They can also check their application status by clicking on “Check the application status” button. Those applicants who are called for an interview need to carry a hard copy of their application form, photocopies of marks cards, caste certificate ( if applicable), baptism certificate ( for Roman Catholics). All candidates also need to sign a Letter of Undertaking that UG students will spend 60 hours & PG students 40 hours on outreach programs designed to provide voluntary service to help the less privileged members of society. The Letter of Undertaking also is an responsibility of the student to abide by the college’s code of conduct as well as submission of all original marks cards of the last qualifying examination, transfer certificate, migration certificate, and provisional degree certificate.
Once the final interview is over students need to remit his course fees within 24 hours. Candidates also need to note that admission is provisional until the student submits all original documents to the office for verification. As admission for particular courses on a first come, first serve basis, there is no last date of admission is announced.
