AILET Syllabus

The AILET (All India Law Entrance Test) 2025 syllabus, as set by National Law University Delhi (NLU Delhi), the conducting body of the exam, includes the following subjects:

  • English (comprehension, grammar, and vocabulary).
  • General knowledge and current affairs.
  • Reasoning (analytical and logical).

Syllabus for LLM program:

For LLM program, the syllabus will include questions from different branches of law such as (Constitutional Law, Jurisprudence, Administrative Law, Law of Contract, Law of Torts, Family Law, Criminal Law, Property Law, Company Law, Public International Law, Tax Law, Environmental Law, Labour & Industrial Law)

Syllabus for Ph.D program:

  • The Ph.D. program, the first 50 questions will be related to subjects in research methodology.
  • For the Ph.D. in Law program, the remaining 50 questions will be from different branches of law.
  • For the Ph.D. in Social Sciences program, the remaining questions will be asked from various branches of social sciences.
