BU Fee Structure
Bangalore University has a scholarship policy. The university offers various scholarships to its students based on their academic performance, financial need, and other criteria. Any student can avail of a scholarship or financial benefit at a time. Students availing of the free University hostel are not eligible for any other freeship, or scholarship, either from the University or Government. Some of the scholarships offered are:
- Post Graduate Merit Scholarship: Students pursuing post-graduation at Bangalore University with a minimum of 60% marks in their undergraduate course is eligible for this scholarship.
- Post Graduate Single Girl Child Scholarship: Single girl children who are pursuing post-graduation at Bangalore University with a minimum of 50% marks in their undergraduate course are eligible for this scholarship.
- SC/ST Scholarship: This scholarship is for SC/ST community students who are pursuing UG or PG courses at Bangalore University.
- Minority scholarship: Students belonging to minority communities who are pursuing UG or PG courses at Bangalore University are eligible for this scholarship.
- Defense scholarship: This scholarship is for the children of defense personnel who are pursuing undergraduate or postgraduate courses at Bangalore University.
- Sports Scholarship: Students who represented the state or country in sports and are pursuing undergraduate or postgraduate courses at Bangalore University are eligible for this.
