However, through the integrated courses offered, there are a plethora of exciting opportunities in various fields including media, intellectual property rights, information technology, data protection. Apart from this, the course also enables students to solidify a career in the corporate firms and various financial institutions.The college has also had former parliamentary and law affairs ministers and chief justices of India associated with them in different capacities right from guiding and funding the institution up to serving as the teaching faculty members.

B.Com. LLB: Candidates seeking admission to the Five-year B.Com., LLB., degree course would have to attend 10 Semester courses spread over 5 years. In each Semester, the student would have to study the courses prescribed by the University in these Regulations. The medium of Instruction in the Five-year B.Com., LLB., degree course shall be English. However, the students shall have the option to answer the question paper in the examination either in English or in Kannada. Student intake will be not more than 60 per division.

BA LLB: Candidates seeking admission to the Five-year B.A., LLB.,degree course would have to attend 10 Semester courses spread over 5 years. In each Semester, the student would have to study the courses prescribed by the University in these Regulations. The medium of Instruction in the Five-year B.A., LLB., degree course shall be English. However, the students shall have the option to answer the question paper in the examination either in English or in Kannada. Student intake will be not more than 60 per division.

LLB: Candidates seeking admission to the three- year LLB., degree course are entitled to attend 6 Semester courses spread over 3 years.

BMS College of Law includes a spacious library with a collection of over 19,000 books and journals.The Moot Court training, equips the students in enhancing their litigating skills. The training and placement cell of college assists the students in obtaining timely allotment for the mandatory internships in leading NGOs, Corporate and Law firms acrossthe nation.

Candidates must have passed Class 12 with a minimum of 45% aggregate (40% for SC/ST candidates) for securing admission at BMS College of Law.
Candidates must qualify BMSCLAT to get admission at BMS College of Law.
