The Central University of South Bihar in Gaya, India, is one of the 54 Federal Government universities under the purview of the Department of Higher Education under the Ministry of Education of the Government of India. The Central Universities (Amendment) Act of 2014 changed the Central University of South Bihar (CUSB) from the Central University of Bihar (CUB), which had been established by Section 25 of the Central Universities Act of 2009.
