CEPT Gujarat Ranking

CEPT University is named after the "Centre for Environmental Planning and Technology". The Ahmedabad Education Society developed CEPT and the other schools that make up its network with help from the governments of Gujarat and India. The Gujarati government acknowledged CEPT as a university in writing in 2005. The University Grants Commission granted CEPT University recognition in 2007 following section 2(f) of the UGC Act, 1956. The Department of Scientific and Industrial Research (DSIR) of the Government of India (SIRO) has designated the University as a Scientific and Industrial Research Organization.

CEPT University Rankings reflect its prestigious position in the fields of architecture, planning, and design. Known for its excellence in practical learning and research, CEPT University consistently ranks among the top institutions in India for these disciplines.

  • CEPT University Ranked 3rd in GSIRF 2020
  • UGC approves the University
  • The University is recognized as a Scientific and Industrial Research Organization (SIRO) by the Department of Scientific and Industrial Research (DSIR) of the Government of India.
  • It is recognized as the Center of Excellence (COE) by the Government of Gujarat.
  • It has constantly been listed as one of the top 10 institutions for architecture. CEPT is now ranked 7th in the nation for architecture and planning.
  • In the area of Overall University, CEPT University has received a rating of 5 Stars.
  • In keeping with the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) launched by the Government of India, the State of Gujarat launched the Gujarat State Institutional Rating Framework (GSIRF) in 2018. The University Category and the Architecture Category were the two competitions in which CEPT University competed in GSIRF 2022.
  • A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been formally established between the Center for Applied Geomatics (CAG), CRDF, CEPT University, and the Leibniz Institute of Ecological Urban and Regional Development. This marks the beginning of cooperation aimed at fostering fruitful relationships with a wide range of professionals and experts.
  • CEPT University and ESRI India, a top provider of Geographic Information System (GIS) Software and solutions, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). This Memorandum of Understanding's main goal is to advance and improve scholarly and research collaborations in the fields of geospatial technologies and applications, urban and habitat planning, structural audit, and green building audit.
  • The third season of the Re-Imagining Urban Rivers Student Thesis Competition was cohosted on August 10 and 11 by the Faculty of Planning (FP) and the National Institute of Urban Affairs (NIUA). Both Chaitanya Joshi (FP PG '21) and Kriti Mada, from Fergusson College, took home the top honor in their respective categories (undergraduate and postgraduate, respectively).
