Gauhati Admission

Admission to Gauhati University is only done online. Admission to all postgraduate courses will be based on the performance of the candidate in the Offline Entrance Test.

Eligibility Criteria:

• MSc - Should have completed BSc with a minimum aggregate of 40%.
• MCom - BCom, BA/BSc candidates with a minimum aggregate of 45% is eligible.
• BEd - B.A, B.Sc, B.Com. or MA, MSc, M.Com with a minimum aggregate of 50% are eligible, for SC/ST students, the minimum aggregate is 45%.
• MA - B.A., BCom, or B.Sc. applicants with a minimum aggregate of 40% are eligible.

Documents Required

• Scanned image of a photograph and signature of the candidate
• Mark Sheet
• Minority/Caste Certificate

• Visit the official website of Gauhati University.
• Go to the admission page.
• Click on the “Gauhati University Admit Card 2023” link.
• After entering the application number and then click on the “Download Admit Card” tab.
• Take a few printouts.
