GAU Jamnagar Admissions
At the undergraduate level, Gujarat Ayurved University offers Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medical Sciences, Bachelor of Pharmacy in Ayurveda, Bachelor of Science(Yoga) degree courses, and Master of Science degree courses in Medicinal Plants, Master of Pharmacy in Ayurveda, Master of Surgery(Ayurveda) at postgraduate level, and Doctorate of Medicine(Ayurveda) degree courses at research level.
Admission to GAU is based on merit. For some courses, qualifying exam scores are considered to determine admission. For others, there is an entrance exam followed by an interview conducted by the university.
How to apply?
- Step 1: Visit the Gujarat Ayurved University's official website.
- Step 2: Select the Admission Notification option and choose the program that you wish to apply for.
- Step 3: The application link will be included in the admission notification for each program. When you click on it, you will be taken to the online application form.
- Step 4: Fill out the application form completely and upload all required documents.
- Step 5: Pay the GAU application fee and save the confirmation page for future reference.
Admission Process
- Admission to D. Pharm/B. Pharm is based on Academic performance in the previous qualifying exam and interview.
- Admission to MD/MS is based on the results of the Joint Entrance Test for IPGT&RA- Jamnagar, Govt. Akhandanand Ayurved College, Ahmedabad, and J.S. Ayurved College, Nadiad.
- For Ph.D., admission is through the previous qualifying exam and personal interview.
