Gujarat Ayurved University has a large campus with great infrastructure. It includes more than 300 bedded indoor facility hospitals for patient care. Students are also introduced to research and clinical training. More than 1,500 patients visit the various OPDs of the University Hospital, which specializes in Ayurvedic treatments such as Panchakarma and Ksharasutra.

There is a central library with a large collection of books, magazines, and journals. There are more than 3556 postgraduate and Ph.D. theses for ongoing students to use as reference material. This library of Gujarat Ayurved University also includes a vast collection of handwritten manuscripts in several languages on various themes. A majority of the 7400 manuscripts are written on palm leaves called bhojpatra.

Another feature of Gujarat Ayurved University is the canteen, which serves hygienic food of various kinds. Well-established herbal gardens are offered for teaching, training, and refreshment. All of these services are provided at no cost by the Government of India and the Government of Gujarat.
