HPCET 2024 Counselling
Results
The results will be announced by the university through its official website on the scheduled date. The official website, himtu.ac.in, is where the candidates can view the HPCET result for 2024. To obtain and view their HIPTU result, candidates who participated in the HPCET exam must use their login information, which includes their registration number and password. Once the HPCET-2024 results are announced, candidates will need to apply separately for counselling by filling out the prescribed application form. The application form is available at www.himtu.ac.in, the HPTU (Himachal Pradesh Technical University) website. To participate in the counselling process for admission to their selected courses, candidates must submit the full application form within the allotted time limit. For admission to the available undergraduate and graduate programs, applicants must take part in centralized counselling, which will be administered by the university. The university will inform you about the dates by notifying it on the official website.
Steps to fill out the counselling cum admission form
1. Click on the Registration tab and fill in all required fields in the Account Registration form.
2. Check the box confirming you have read the instructions and eligibility criteria.
3. Submit the form and will receive a confirmation message or email.
4. Login using your registered username and password to access the provided features and services.
- It is suggested that candidates write down their Username, Form Number, and Password for future use. The candidates will receive login information, including the aforementioned details in their registered email address(es). In order to log into the account in the future, it is crucial to maintain this information safe.
5. The candidate must enter the necessary data on the log-in detail page, including the Username, Password, and Form-No, in order to log in.
An email verification window will pop up for additional verification after hitting the login button.
Follow these steps, to verify the email address,
- Click on the "Send OTP to email" button. An OTP (One-Time Password) will be sent to the registered email-id.
- Fill in the received OTP in the "Enter OTP" text box.
- Click on the "Verify Email" button to confirm the authenticity of the email address.
6. The candidate should select "Save and Continue" after filling out all the required information. They will then be sent to the "Upload
Photograph/Signature" page after doing so.
7. The candidate should press the "Upload" button after successfully uploading their photo and signature. They will then be taken to the
Confirmation Page. It is crucial to remember that the scanned images of the signature and photo should only be in.jpg/.jpeg format, with the
size of the signature being less than 30 kb and the photo being less than 50 kb.
8. Review and confirm the accuracy of the entry information displayed on the confirmation page. If any errors are found, they can be fixed by
selecting "Edit Form" from the menu.
(A) The candidate may continue by clicking the "Final Submit" button if all the information is accurate.
(b) It is critical to remember that any inputs made in the Counseling-cum-Admission form are permanent and cannot be changed.
9. The only accepted methods for making the fee payment by candidates are online methods like Internet Banking, Credit/Debit Cards, UPI,
etc. Candidates will be able to print the Counselling-cum-Admission form in PDF format for their records after a successful payment has been
received.
10. Address any mail to the Himachal Pradesh Technical University's Dean of Academics at VPO Daruhi, District of Hamirpur (H.P.) -177001. In
any contact related to the admission process, it is essential to provide the Counselling-cum-Admission form number.
