HPCET Counselling

The results will be announced by the university through its official website on the scheduled date. The official website, himtu.ac.in, is where the candidates can view the HPCET 2025 result. To obtain and view their HIPTU result, candidates who participated in the HPCET exam must use their login information, which includes their registration number and password.The application form is available at www.himtu.ac.in, the HPTU (Himachal Pradesh Technical University) website. To participate in the counselling process for admission to their selected courses, candidates must submit the full application form within the allotted time limit. For admission to the available undergraduate and postgraduate programs, applicants must take part in centralized counselling, which will be administered by the university.

The HPCET 2025 counselling process is conducted online, enabling eligible candidates to register and participate through the official admission portal. Applicants must begin by logging in with valid credentials and completing the counselling-cum-admission form with accurate personal and communication details.

A non-refundable counselling fee of Rs. 1600 for General/EWS/OBC and Rs. 800 for SC/ST and BPL/IRDP categories is applicable for those without an HPCET 2025 score. However, candidates applying through HPCET scores are exempt from this fee.

Seats are allotted based on merit, preferences, and seat availability. Once allotted, candidates must report to the designated venue, complete document verification, and pay the admission fee to confirm their seat.

Documents required at the time of admission include:

  • Passing the certificate of the qualifying exam
  • Mark sheets (10th, 12th, graduation as applicable)
  • Date of Birth proof (Matric/HSC certificate)
  • HPCET 2025 or National Level Entrance Scorecard
  • Character Certificate
  • Bonafide/Domicile Certificate
  • Reserved Category Certificate (if applicable)
  • Disability Certificate (if applicable)
  • Income Certificate (for Tuition Fee Waiver)
  • Affidavit for Beti Hai Anmol Scheme (if applicable)
  • Certificate for Kashmiri Migrant quota (if applicable)
  • Certificate from a Class-I Gazetted Officer/Notary

The HPCET 2025 cut-off will be released after the exam and will depend on factors such as exam difficulty, seat availability, and previous trends

After the result announcement, the candidates will have to apply separately for counselling by filling out the prescribed application form.
Seats are allotted based on rank, category, the number of choices filled, and the availability of seats.
You will need to provide academic mark sheets, certificates, a scorecard, a photo ID, a domicile certificate, a category certificate (if applicable), and any other supporting documents.
