HPCET Exam Pattern

Himachal Pradesh Technical University (HPTU) will release the HPCET 2025 exam pattern and syllabus. Aspirants seeking admission to professional and technical courses, such as B.Tech, B.Pharmacy, MCA, MBA, and MBA (T&HM), offered by HPTU and its affiliated institutions—including deemed universities and other universities in Himachal Pradesh—can refer to the official syllabus and pattern. The HPCET 2025 exam pattern will help candidates plan their preparation effectively. The HPCET 2025 will be conducted in offline mode, and the question paper will be entirely in English. As per the exam pattern, -1 marks will be deducted for each incorrect answer.

B.Tech and B.Pharmacy

• The exam will consist of objective-type (multiple-choice) questions.
• The total marks for the exam will be 600.
• The question paper will comprise 150 questions.
• A penalty of 1 mark will be applied for every incorrect answer.

MCA, MBA, And MBA (T & HM)

• The question paper will consist of multiple-choice (objective-type) questions.
• There will be 100 questions, with each question carrying one mark.
• For every incorrect answer, 1 mark will be deducted as a result of negative marking.
