HSTES Syllabus

The Haryana State Technical Education Society (HSTES) 2024 syllabus covers a wide range of subjects necessary for various technical and professional courses offered in Haryana. The admissions are conducted based on different exams such as JEE Main, NATA, and HSTES-specific entrance tests.

The courses covered by HSTE include disciplines like Engineering, Technology, Architecture & Planning, Pharmacy, and Management.

  • Diploma Courses- admission is based on inter-se- merit of the qualifying examination.
  • B. Pharmacy Courses- state-level online tests are conducted for admission to this course.
  • B.E/ B.Tech – admission is based on the ALL India rank of JEE (MAIN).
  • B. Arch Course- admission is based on the rank obtained in NATA conducted by COA and JEE MAIN PAPER Part-II.

For B.E/B. Tech courses, and admissions are based on the All India Rank of JEE Main. The JEE Main exam includes sections on Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.

Each section contains 30 questions, making a total of 90 questions, and the exam is conducted in a computer-based test (CBT) format.

For B.Arch courses, the admissions depend on NATA or JEE Main Paper-II scores, focusing on Mathematics, Aptitude, and a Drawing Test

For the B.Pharmacy course, HSTES conducts a state-level online entrance test. The exam is divided into sections covering Physics, Chemistry, and either Biology, Biotechnology, or Computer Science, with each section comprising 30 questions. The exam duration is 3 hours, and it is conducted online

The Diploma courses admissions are based on the merit of the qualifying examination. The syllabus and pattern vary slightly depending on the specific course and level of entry, such as regular diploma courses or lateral entry for diploma holders
