Mount Carmel College (MCC) established in 1948 in Bangalore, Karnataka,is one of the most premier, only for girls institution in India. Located at Palace Road, Heart of Bangalore and run by the sisters of the CSST order, Mount Carmel is known for empowering students through value based, quality and integral education. MCC Bangalore works closely with the socially and economically marginalized sections of society to create a “Civilization of Love”.

Affiliated to Bangalore University, MCC has been Assessed and Re-Accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) and awarded ‘A’ Grade. The College was granted Autonomy in the year 2005 -2006, and has been identified by UGC as “Centre with Potential for Excellence” (CPE).

The college was granted the autonomy status in September 2005, affiliated to Bangalore University. Mount Carmel College was re-accredited with A+ by NAAC in 2006 & was rewarded A grade in its second round of re-accreditation.
