NLSIU Courses

The National Law School of India University (NLSIU) provides undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctorate-level courses. Students can pursue degrees such as B.A. L.L.B (Hons), L.L.M Human Rights Law, Ph.D. Law, LLD, and others. CLAT and CLAT PG scores are accepted by the National Law School of India University for admission to its B.A. L.L.B (Hons) and L.L.M programs, respectively. The university awards scholarships to students depending on their academic performance and background.

NLSIU’s Undergraduate Programs

The university provides a five-year integrated undergraduate B.A. LL.B (Hons) degree program, which is the university's flagship degree and provides students with training in a variety of legal and non-legal areas. NLSIU pioneered this 5-year program in India with the goal of providing a strong foundation for students to pursue career possibilities or future academic opportunities.

NLSIU’s Postgraduate Programs

The 1-year Master of Laws (LL.M.) Program, the two-year Master's Programme in Public Policy (MPP), and the newly implemented three-year LLB (Hons) Program are all available as postgraduate programs at NLSIU. The MPP is an interdisciplinary program that provides complete training in policy creation, translation, and evaluation.

NLSIU’s Research Programs

The NLSIU Research Program is designed for students and practitioners interested in pursuing further studies, research, and scholarship. The following research degree programs are available at the University: Ph.D. (Law) and Ph.D. Interdisciplinary Programme.

NLSIU Bangalore Scholarships

The National Law School of India University provides scholarships for eligible and deserving students. The institution does grant financial aid to students based on merit so that no one is denied access to education. The following are the university's scholarship programs:

National Law School of India University, Bangalore offers a wide range of law courses at the undergraduate, master's degree, and doctoral levels.
Students must have passed 10+2 from a recognized board and have qualified for the CLAT examination to be admitted to the UG level BA LLB course.
For admission to the LLM course, students must have a PG degree from a recognized university followed by a qualifying exam - CLAT.
Candidates must have a Ph.D. in Law from a recognized university, 10 years of teaching experience, and high academic accomplishment in the field of law.
For admission to a Master’s in Public Policy, students should have a graduate degree from a recognized university followed by a qualifying exam- PAT.
