For medical graduates seeking admission to postgraduate medical programmes in India, NEET PG is a very competitive exam. The ranking system and accompanying cut-off scores are one of the key components of the NEET PG. NEET PG 2025 will be published after the announcement of the result.
Each candidate receives an All India Rank (AIR) based on their percentiles. The NEET PG exam uses a ranking system called the AIR to determine a candidate's performance concerning all other test-takers. The minimum requirements for eligibility are the cut-off scores. To be considered for subsequent admission procedures, candidates must receive a score that is equal to or higher than the cutoff. Applicants need to understand that meeting the NEET PG cutoff does not ensure admission to PG medical programmes. Candidates are required to show up for the NEET PG counselling process based on the NEET PG merit list 2024.
