NEET UG Exam Counselling

Qualified applicants will be allowed to take part in the centralised counselling, which is conducted by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) for the 15% All India Quota seats and the 85% state quota seats by the various state authorities, following the announcement of the NEET result.

NEET Results 2025

  • The National Testing Agency (NTA) declared the NEET UG 2025 result on 14th June 2025. The NEET 2025 results will be released in the form of a scorecard by the authority.
  • NTA additionally sent out NEET result 2025 scorecards to registered candidates' email addresses. Aspirants must provide their application number, date of birth, and security pin to access the NTA NEET test result.
  • In the NEET scorecard, NTA will announce the qualifying NEET cutoff scores for General/SC/ST/OBC students.

NEET Counselling 2025

The NEET UG counselling process for 2025 will be conducted by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) exclusively through the online mode. Based on the NEET UG 2025 result date, which was announced on June 14, 2025, candidates will be shortlisted for counselling according to their All India Rank in the merit list. The counselling is expected to begin in July 2025.

There are two types of NTA NEET counselling: The AIQ NEET 2025 counselling process is the only way to get into 15% of all government medical and dental colleges, all deemed universities and central universities, and all Employees' State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) and Armed Forces Medical College (AFMC) seats, including Delhi University (DU), BHU, AMU, and AIIMS & JIPMER.

State Quota seats for NEET UG counselling: Admissions to 85% of government colleges and all private unaided/aided minority/non-minority medical/dental colleges in the state will be handled through state NEET counselling 2025.

Steps in the Counselling Procedure

The process includes several essential stages:

  • Online registration on the MCC portal
  • Filling and locking of preferred colleges and courses
  • Seat allotment based on merit and preferences
  • Document verification
  • Reporting to the allotted college and completing admission formalities

Counselling will be conducted in multiple rounds, with the number of seats available decreasing after each round.

Required Documents for Admission

Candidates must carry the following documents at the time of reporting to the allotted college:

  • Allotment letter issued by MCC
  • NEET 2025 Admit Card
  • NEET 2025 Score Card (as per NEET UG 2025 result date)
  • Class 10 and 12 mark sheets and certificates
  • Birth certificate (if not mentioned in Class 10 certificate)
  • Eight passport-size photos (same as in the application form)
  • Valid ID proof (Aadhaar, PAN, Passport, or Driving License)
  • Category certificate (if applicable)

The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) conducts the counselling for NEET UG 2025.
Candidates are selected based on their All India Rank in the NEET UG 2025 merit list.
The process includes registration, choice filling, seat allotment, document verification, and reporting to the allotted college.
