What is the future scope of study after BAMS?

  • After BAMS students study either MD or MS in Ayurveda
  • They can also go for diploma
  • Also students can pursue higher studies in many medical-related disciplines like:
    • Master’s in Public Health
    • Master’s in Health Administration
    • Post Graduate Diploma in Emergency Medicine and many other postgraduate courses.

Compulsory 1 year internship will start after passing final examination. To take Prasanna Ayurvedic Medical College Admission it is necessary to sit for NEET entrance exam. After the successful completion of the prescribed course of study of five and half years students will be awarded the BAMS degree.

The duration for Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery is 5.5 years
Candidates should pass 10+2 or any the equivalent examination from any recognized boards with minimum 50% in PCB. They shouldnot be less than 17 years of age.
