Rabindra Bharati University prioritizes students' extra-academic needs by providing them with hostel accommodations, particularly for female students, and by providing financial assistance for students in exceptional circumstances. In other words, the University administration continues to work tirelessly to provide the best possible facilities to students. Some of the facilities available at the university include
- Library
The Rabindra Bharati University Library consists of the Central Library, the Sangeet Bhavan Library, and departmental libraries affiliated with academic departments. Rabindra Bharati University Library was set up in 1962 in a small room at Jorasanko, Rabindranath Tagore's ancestral house. Within a year, the entire library was relocated to the first floor of Maharshi Bhavan, where there was ample space for books and readers. A part of the library was relocated to the Emerald Bower Campus on B T Road in the mid-1970s, along with some academic departments of the Arts faculty. Kendriya Granthagar Bhavan, a four-story library building, was built, and the central library has been situated there since 2001.
- Canteen
The University runs two student canteens, one on each campus. Aside from these, the E.B Campus has an additional staff canteen.
