SRMC Fee Structure

The sri ramachandra institute of higher education and research trust achieved the task of establishing the Institution as a “Centre of Excellence” under the leadership of Late Shri. N.P.V.Ramasamy Udayar who was the Founder and Managing Trustee of the Trust and also the first Chancellor of the Deemed to be University. Shri. V.R. Venkataachalam is currently the Chancellor of the Deemed to be University and is also the Managing Trustee of the Trust. In view of its academic excellence, the Government of India declared Sri Ramachandra Institute of Higher Education and Research as a Deemed to be University in September, 1994 under Section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956.

Sri Ramachandra Medical College Fee Structure is based on the courses students choose and also the facilities the college provide. NRI college fees for the course period also included hostel fees. The University is recognised under MCI and all the admissions are done through the recognised body.

The sri ramachandra medical college hostel fees is Rs 2, 00,000/- and should be paid separately and the hostel have 7 complexes for students with total of 3608 rooms for accommodation. There are separate hostels for NRI and Indian students both for male and female. Air-conditioned and non-Ac rooms are also available. General facilities available across all hostel complexes are study hall, visitor/guest hall/area, TV hall, 24 X 7 water and electricity supply.

Gents Hostel:

There are 2 blocks with a common mess which serves the students and University staff members and guests. There are total 1222 rooms (including 520 A/c rooms) which are ‘single’ or ‘sharing’ (max. 2 persons) accommodation basis with common bath and toilet facilities.

The NRI Boys Hostel has 368 deluxe rooms with A/c and attached bath and toilet facilities available on ‘single’ accommodation basis. Apart from the usual amenities, this hostel has a large conference room in its ground floor and 2 lifts.

Ladies Hostel:

With a total of 408 non-A/c rooms with common bath and toilet in each complex, accommodation is available on ‘single’ as well as ‘sharing’ basis.

NRI Girls Hostel has total of 866 rooms (including 256 A/c rooms with attached bath & toilet) are available. Among the 610 non-A/c rooms with common bath and toilet facilities, 68 rooms have provision for split A/c. The special features of this complex include a dedicated space/room for yoga, gymnasium and table tennis. It also has a garment shop and beauty parlour.

Another NRI complex has 336 single, A/c rooms with attached bath and toilet facility. It also has 2 kitchens, ‘Sakthi’ and ‘Ashok’ with 3 dining halls which serve all the students as well as parents/visitors/guests. In addition to the other usual amenities, it has 2 lifts.
