Sapthagiri College of Engineering Placements department is being led by Mrs. Suma Vishwanath (Group Head, Human Resource) who believes in crafting the talented and young minds to be dedicated, disciplined and focused so they may lead the company towards prosperity, growth and excellence in future. The department is commonly known by the name of T & P (Training and Placement) department. Some of the Training Organizations across best industries are in tie-up with the college's placement department to provide necessary skill sets and the corporate working culture to mould them as confident professionals and leaders.

Students are aided in the development of their intrapersonal skills and abilities through the placement department to enable them getting placed reputed MNCs and companies across the country. This is one of the few colleges in Bangalore where importance to placements is given in par with academics. This department works very sincerely towards the empowering the students with various skills to accomplish their personal excellence and professional goals. From the very beginning of the curriculum, students are clued up to maintain good academic scores in each semester.
