UBS Admissions

Universal Business School Admissions are based on fulfillment of certain criteria specified by the college.The college also considers results on group discussions and personal interviews.The Universal Business School (UBS) was established as part of Strive India Education Foundation in February 2009.UBS takes a leap forward, by creating India’s First Green Business School ensuring eco-smart integrated thinking and a sustainable campus. UBS provides full time and part time Graduate and Postgraduate programmes in Management along with Executive Management Development courses.

UBS was the first school in Asia to set up a Global Trading room on its campus. UBS offers an MBA Programme, an Executive MBA programme an MBA Degree from Cardiff Metropolitan University UK, a BA(Hons) in Business Management Degree Programme, a doctoral Programme in Management (PhD) as well as short-duration and part-time executive education programs for middle and senior level management. The admission process is simple and easy to understand. The bachelors and masters admission process follows similar routes for the admission processes.

UBS Admission Eligibility Criteria

BBA Cardiff Met. UK / BBA + MBA Cardiff Met. UK /BA (Hons) IN (Liberal Arts/Economics/Sports/Design/Business Analytics)/ BBA + MBA – La Rochelle Business School, France:

  • A Level/CBSE/HSC/ Other 12th Grade Equivalents.
  • Minimum 65% in their respective exams.
  • Student's proficiency in the English language will be checked on the basis of them having achieved above 60% in the English language subject in both 12th and 10th standards. Those who fail to achieve these criteria will be required to write the IELTS exam and would then have to score 6.5 overall with minimum cutoff of 6 in each category.
  • International Business (IB) students who are applying to UBS will taken in based on their predicted grades. The procedure is the same for NRIs, Indian Students and PIO/NRI Candidates.

AICTE approved PGDM (General):

  • Universal Business University selects its students based on their performance against certain Eligibility criteria such as Academics (10th, 12th & Graduation), Entrance Exam CAT/ GMAT/ C-MAT / CET, Extra-Curricular Activities, Communication Skills, Work Experience / Leadership, Statement of Purpose & Letters of Reference.

PGDM (Foreign Collaboration, Cardiff Met., UK) / PGDM (Business Mgmt.) + GMP (UK) / PGDM (International Mgmt.) + GMP (France/ Bulgaria/ USA):

  • Universal Business University selects its students based on their performance against certain Eligibility criteria such as Academics (10th, 12th & Graduation), Entrance Exam CAT/ GMAT/ C-MAT / CET, Extra-Curricular Activities, Communication Skills, Work Experience / Leadership, Statement of Purpose & Letters of Reference.

Executive MBA Degree - Cardiff Met., UK:

  • Graduation from any stream
  • A minimum Work Experience of 4 years is required. There is provision for candidates with lesser experience but the quality of the experience will be evaluated by the Academic Council.

Executive MBA Degree from Swiss School of Management, Italy:

  • Graduation from any stream is mandatory.
  • The following weightage scheme will be used: Academics: 20%, NMAT by GMAC: 20%, Extra-Curricular Activities: 20%, Communication: 20%, Work Experience / Leadership: 20%.

PGDM – AIMA / Global Blended MBA:

  • Graduation from any stream is mandatory.
  • A minimum experience of 1-year is required.

MS in Business Analytics (University of Dallas, USA):

1. FULL TIME:

  • BE / B. Tech, CS, IS, IT, Business, Commerce with Math
  • IELTS (6.5) or TOFEL (80+)
  • Preferred experience of 0 to 2 years in IT field
  • UG program Certified Transcripts showing a minimum CGPA of 2.67 out of 4.

2. PART TIME:

  • BCA/ BE/ BTech/ MTech/ ME/ MTech/ MCA/ BSc MSc (in Mathematics, Physics, IT/ CS) / BCom, BMS (in Statistics/ Mathematics)
  • UG certified Transcripts

Global MBA (2 Continents 3 Business Schools):

  • Graduation from any stream is mandatory.
  • A minimum experience of 2-years is required.

BBA / BBA + MBA / Global MBA (2 Continents 3 Business Schools):

  • Candidates would be required to submit documents like their Academic Score Cards (10th, 12th from CBSE, ICSE, IBDP, A Levels, HSC or 12th grade equivalent)
  • You need to score in the UBS Entrance Exam (for BA (hon. And BA Cardiff Met University)) in which marks scored by the candidates would be later used for evaluation depending on weightage and other factors.

Doctorate in Business Administration (DBA):

  • A Master’s degree which is recognised internationally.
  • Professional experience is highly preferred.

Admission Dates for BBA (CBSE / SSC / IGCSE / IB / Equivalent):

  • Early Stage Admissions are eligible for scholarships. The admission dates fall in between Dec and Jan
  • The main stage of admissions is between Jan 16th and March 31st 2020.
  • This brings us to the final stage of Admissions which falls in between April 1 and Jun 30, 2020.
