UPCET 2023 Application

The application forms were released on the official website of AKTU. The process to fill out the application form will not be the same every year and candidates have to check the official website or the conducting authority for updates. The following shows the steps to fill out the application form for UPCET 2023.

Step 1: Go to the official website of AKTU and click on the registration link. Go to ‘New Registration’ and enter all the required details. After this, you will receive the registration credentials.

Step 2: Using the registration credentials, you can go to the application form page. Enter valid academic and personal details. Also, upload your scanned signature and photograph of the appropriate dimension and file format.

Step 3: Choose a course you wish to apply to and that interests you

Step 4: Check for the accuracy of the details you have entered before submitting the same.

Step 5: Pay the application fee online through debit/credit/net banking. Have a copy of the transaction details or payment receipt for future purpose

Step 6: Once the application form is successfully submitted, take a printout of it as it may be required during the admission and counseling process.

Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria is not the same for every course in UPCET. The following shows the general eligibility criteria for both Undergraduate and Postgraduate courses.

Undergraduate ( B.Tech/B.Pharm/B.Arch/BHMCT/BFAD/BFA/B.Des)

• The candidate should be an Indian citizen. Foreign candidates and NRI can also apply but for the seats reserved for them
• There is no particular age limit for undergraduates. But candidates applying for B.Arch should have completed 17 years of age as of December 31st of the academic year.
• For B.Tech and B.Pharm, candidates should have passed class 12th with Physics and Mathematics along with either one of the subjects - Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biology, or Technical Vocational subject.
• For B.Arch, candidates should have passed class 12th with at least 50 % marks having Mathematics as a compulsory subject.
• For BHMCT/BFAD/BFA/B.Des, candidates should have passed class 12th or equivalent in any discipline.

Postgraduate ( MBA/MCA/M.Tech/M.Pharm )

• The candidate should be an Indian citizen. Foreign candidates and NRI can also apply but for the seats reserved for them
• There is no particular age limit for postgraduates
• For MBA, candidates should have passed a Bachelor’s degree of three years from a recognized institution
• For MCA, candidates should have passed a Bachelor’s degree of three year with Mathematics at 10+2 or graduate level
• For M.Tech, candidates should have passed B.Tech/ B.E or equivalent of the appropriate field.
• For M.Pharm, candidates should have passed B.Pharm or equivalent
