UPCET 2025 Counselling

The UPCET 2025 exam counselling will be conducted by the Uttar Pradesh Technical Admission Counselling (UPTAC) in multiple rounds, including a spot counselling round if seats remain vacant. The counselling process is open to candidates who have secured valid ranks or scores in national-level entrance exams. Counselling will be conducted online, and candidates must register using their application number and password. A non-refundable counselling fee of Rs. 1000 is required, which will be adjusted against the college fee during admission.

Document Verification and Choice Filling

After successful fee payment, candidates are required to upload scanned copies of their documents, each not exceeding 200 KB. Verification of these documents will be done online by the concerned authorities. Once verification is complete, candidates can proceed to select their preferred colleges and courses. It is recommended to select the maximum number of choices to avoid missing out on your preferred options. Candidates must lock their choices within the specified period. If not locked manually, the system will automatically lock the final entries.

Documents required for verification include:

• Class 10th and 12th marksheets and certificates
• Admit card and rank card of the national-level entrance exam.
• Category and sub-category certificates (if applicable)
• Domicile certificate
• Character certificate
• Medical fitness certificate

Seat Allotment and Reporting

Seat allotment will be based on merit, preferences, category, and seat availability. Candidates must log in using their credentials to check the allotment status and download their seat allotment letter. Once a seat is allotted and accepted, no changes to the branch or institution will be permitted. Candidates must report to the assigned college within the given timeline; failing to do so will result in seat cancellation and reallocation to the next eligible candidate.

Admission to undergraduate and postgraduate programs will strictly depend on candidates' scores and ranks. Only those meeting the minimum qualifying marks will be eligible. After the announcement of the UPCET exam date, qualified candidates will be invited to register and select their preferred choices. If candidates don’t receive their preferred seat in the first round, they are encouraged to participate in subsequent rounds, as previous allotments will be cancelled upon receiving a new allotment.
