The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) IFS form was released on 14th February 2024. All candidates interested in the IFS posts must complete an application form. The department will arrange the exam centres based on the number of application forms received, and they will also issue admit cards to all candidates who filled out the application form.

Here’s a step-by-step procedure for filling out the application form.
Nationality:
The candidate must be an Indian citizen or be an immigrant of Indian origin from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, or countries in East Africa like Kenya and Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, and Vietnam to permanently settle in India.
Age:
On August 1, 2024, the candidate must be at least 21 years old and not attained 32 years old, i.e. he/she should have been born not earlier than 2nd August 1990 and not later than 1st August 2001.
Educational Qualification:
The suitable applicant needs to hold a bachelor's degree in one of the following fields: animal husbandry and veterinary science, botany, chemistry, geology, mathematics, physics, statistics, and zoology.
The General and OBC categories candidates have to pay Rs. 200 as a registration fee for the UPSC IFS 2024, but there is no charge for applicants in the SC or SD categories.
