GPAT Applications

How to Apply

Before filling out the application form, read the instructions carefully.

  • Candidates should register themselves by visiting the official website of GPAT using their Email Id and Mobile No.
  • They need to fill in the application form with their details, educational qualifications, and other necessary information
  • Upload scanned copies of passport-size photograph (file size: 10 kb - 200 kb), signature (file size: 4 kb – 30 kb) and Thumb impression (file size: 3 kb-30 kb) in JPG/JPEG format.
  • Candidates are also required to pay the application fee online using Canara/ICICI Bank through Net Banking/Debit Card/Credit Card/UPI and keep proof of fee paid.
  • After the successful submission of the application form and fee payment, candidates should take a printout of the confirmation page for future reference.
  • GPAT application process is conducted online only, and they should read the instructions carefully before filling out the application form.
  • They should also download and install the SANDES application to receive time-to-time notifications from NTA.

GPAT Exam Eligibility Criteria

  • The applicant must have a Bachelor's degree in pharmacy (four years after 10+2, including lateral entry students) or its equivalent from an accredited institution.
  • Candidates who are in their final year of the bachelor of pharmacy course and whose results will be out before the start of 2025 admission can also apply for GPAT – 2025 Computer Based Test
  • For the GPAT exam, there is no age limit.

Reservations

Reservation provided in Central Institutes:

  • 15% of the seats allotted to Scheduled Castes (SC) candidates
  • 7.5% of seats are allocated for Scheduled Tribes (ST) candidates
  • For Other Backward Classes (OBC) Non-Creamy Layer (NCL) candidates 27% of seats are allotted
  • 10% of the seats are allocated for General Economically Weaker Sections (General - EWS) candidates
  • 5% for Persons with Disability (PwD) candidates who have 40% or more disability

Candidates have to follow the GPAT application procedure which include online registration, application form completion, uploading the necessary files, and payment of the application fee.
A Bachelor's degree in pharmacy (4 years after 10+2 including lateral entrance students) or an equivalent degree recognised by the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) is required to be eligible for the GPAT.
No, the GPAT has no age restriction.
