AIMA does not conduct any centralized counseling for admission of candidates under MBA programs through MAT. The partaking B-schools decide the cut-off as per their requirement for intake of candidates. Student can approach to more than 600 management colleges in India through MAT scores which is valid for a year.
If two candidates have obtained equal cut-off in the merit list, then the advantage will be given to the older student.
The appearing candidates will be shortlisted for admission through MAT exam 2024. They will be receiving the call letter to their registered mail-id used during application processing. The call letter consists of information like-
A total of more than 600 B-schools that accept the MAT score/ rank card. But only MAT score is not just, as the process of selection varies from on institute to another. There are at least two to three rounds before the final selection of candidate is made. The 3 selection process are-
Once the result is out, candidates are required to follow the below mentioned steps for different round of selection procedure-
There is a reservation of 5% seats for NRI candidates across the B-schools in India. These seats will be filled through general intake, if in case no NRI candidates show up for admission. The candidates must have a valid passport to fulfill the requirements under NRI quota.
