Doctor of Medicine (MD) is a postgraduate degree in which graduates study medicine in depth. It is a two-year programme that prepares medical graduates to study, prevent, diagnose, and treat adult diseases. A candidate with an MBBS degree can pursue an MD degree to gain training in a specialty of choice.
