Admission Process in Medical Colleges

The admission process for medical colleges in India is primarily based on the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET), conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). Aspiring students must qualify for NEET to secure admission into MBBS, BDS, and other medical programs. After the exam, candidates participate in counseling sessions, which are conducted at both national (AIQ) and state levels. The Medical Counseling Committee (MCC) oversees All India Quota (AIQ) admissions, while state authorities manage state quota seats.

Aspiring students can secure admission to government medical colleges in Bangalore through NEET, with affordable fees and quality education offered under state and central quotas. Admission criteria include academic qualifications, NEET scores, and category-based reservations. Once a seat is allotted, students must complete document verification and fee payment at their respective colleges. Some institutions also offer direct admission for NRI and management quota seats. With increasing competition, securing a seat in a reputed medical college requires dedicated preparation and strategic planning.
