The institution has 7 more constituent units, and the college has an NSS cell which actively works and visits as many places as possible to help and serve people. • Identification of Florets for antioxidant activity and carbonic anhydrase inhibitory activity as a potential candidate for reduction of intraocular pressure
• Moringa oleifera leaf-based formulation for a nutrition drink
• Polyherbal combination of medicinal plants formulation has been identified as a natural dipeptidyl peptidase inhibitor and its potential as an anti-diabetic and cardioprotective agent is well explored.
• Successfully organized various events and workshops to popularize the Innovation ecosystem on the campus.

The MGMIHS Sleep research centre:

• The 1st state of the art polysomnography centre of Navi Mumbai and Raigad district.
• Level 1 sleep lab in collaboration with the University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, USA.
• Regularly involved in sleep awareness campaigns in the region of Navi Mumbai and Panvel.
• Actively involved in imparting education so as to increase the number of physicians and other allied health professionals with the knowledge and skills to diagnose and treat sleep disorders.
