Pesit University the main campus, which is affiliated to PES University, it is the first engineering college that was started in the year 1988. Pes (formerly known as Pes Institute Of Technology) is ranked at the no. 1 position in Karnataka as per the Dataquest magazine.

The faculty at PES are well experinced & most of the faculty members are from industry background who are professionally experinced in their chosen field, which helps students for a better growth in their career. The main focus of the department is to train the students for a better career.

The intake of the college is 1500 students, also the intake for CSE is about 120 students. The candidates are selected on the basis of applied criteria by the college.

Admission criteria :

68% aggregate marks in 10+2 (pcm) or equivalent in science stream from a recognized board. Test Scores in PESSAT (National level exam) or KCET (State level exam) required.

Placement :

The college maximum placement touches upto 24 lakhs p.a whereas, the average package goes to 8 lakhs p.a & extends maximum upto 15-16 lakhs p.a.
