SNAP Preparation 2024

  • Certain changes have been made in the question paper as per last year in the number of special questions, the total number of questions, and the marking scheme.
  • The number of questions is 60.
  • The paper is divided into 3 sections: General English: Reading Comprehension, Verbal Reasoning, Verbal Ability, Analytical & Logical Reasoning, and Quantitative, Data Interpretation & Data Sufficiency.
  • There are a few things that make this exam different from other MBA entrance exams:
    • No sectional cut-off
    • Allows switching between sections
    • General Knowledge (GK) has been removed from the syllabus

SNAP Preparation Strategy:

  • Practise and revise the class 9-10 NCERT school Math books
  • Practice with tables, squares, cubes and decimal-fraction conversions, concepts and formulae. This will develop your comfort level with numbers.
  • Read good books and to broaden your knowledge.
  • Analyse each and every questions attempted in the mock test, once the results is out. Re-attempt skipped questions and write down any new approaches or shortcuts learned from the solutions.
  • Be thorough with the entire syllabus.; do not skip topics that frequently appear in the earlier exams
  • Candidates should familiarize themselves with the exam pattern and its structure.
  • Take regular mock tests, including full-length mocks and sectional tests, to enhance time management skills.

Mock Test:

  • The mock test will be scheduled in the month of October 2024
  • Candidates, who have paid the SNAP fees by 12th October are eligible for the mock test.
  • The login credentials for both slot booking and taking the mock test are
    • SNAP ID
    • Password
  • Slot booking will open from October 2024 interested students can book an hour before the mock test starts.
  • Test duration is 1 hour
  • Each questions will carry 1 mark
  • 0.25 will deducted for wrong answers
