BITSAT Application Form
To apply for the BITSAT exam, follow these steps:
- Visit the official BITSAT website of BITS Pilani www.bitsadmission.com and click on the "BITSAT" tab.
- Click on the "Apply for BITSAT" link and register yourself by providing your name, email ID, and mobile number. Candidates will receive a unique application number and password through email and SMS.
- Login using the application number and password, and fill in the required personal and academic details, such as educational qualifications, contact information, etc.
- Upload scanned copies of passport-sized photographs, signature, and 10th and 12th class mark sheets. The size of the scanned files should be within the specified limit.
- Pay the application fee of Rs. 3400 (for male candidates) and Rs. 2900/- (for female candidates) through online mode (credit/debit card, net banking, or UPI) or offline mode (challan).
- Choose three preferred test centres from the list of available centres. The actual centre will be allotted based on availability.
- After filling in all the details, check the form for errors and submit it.
- Take a printout of the confirmation page for future reference.
Eligibility Criteria:
- For integrated programmes except for B. Pharm, candidates should pass the 12th class examination from a recognized Central or State board or its equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics and have adequate proficiency in English.
- For B. pharm admission, candidates should pass the 12th class examination from a recognized Central or State board or its equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, or Mathematics and have adequate proficiency in English.
- Candidates must have received at least 75% in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (if they took Mathematics in BITSAT) or a minimum of 75% in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (if they took Biology in BITSAT) overall in their 12th-grade exams, with at least 60% in each of the three subjects (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Biology).
Admissions to all of BITS Pilani's Integrated First Degree programmes will be based on a computer-based online test that will be conducted by BITS Pilani at its campuses in Pilani, Goa, and Hyderabad. This test will be known as the "BITS Admission Test, abbreviated as BITSAT."
BITSAT Fees
- Male candidates who wish to appear twice will have to pay a sum of Rs. 5400
- Female candidates who wish to appear twice will have to pay a sum of Rs. 4400
- Male candidates who wish to appear for one exam will have to pay Rs 3400 and female candidates will have to pay Rs. 2900.
- If such candidates wish to appear in session for the second time, then they will have to pay Rs. 2000 (for a male candidate) and Rs. 1500 (for a female candidate).
- If a candidate chooses to participate only in Session-2, the fee will be Rs. 3400 for males and Rs. 2900 for females.
Besides applying and appearing for BITSAT 2024, candidates should also apply for admission to the 3 BITS campuses by giving details of their 12th marks and preferences for different degree programmes.
Application Correction Facility
If candidates have made any mistakes in their application, they can edit the required fields in the online application from 15th to 19th April 2024. Candidates can make corrections to their application form, including personal details, educational qualifications, and exam centre choices.
It should be noted here candidates cannot edit all the details like gender, email id and contact number during the correction window. Once the correction window closes, they cannot make any further changes to their application form. Therefore, it is important that candidates carefully review their application form before submitting it to avoid any errors.
