Here are some tips to prepare for the BITSAT exam:

  • Candidates should familiarise themselves with the syllabus and exam pattern of BITSAT to understand the types of questions and topics that will be covered.
  • Start by studying NCERT textbooks for Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as they form the core of the BITSAT syllabus.
  • Solve previous year’s papers and sample papers to get an idea of the level of difficulty and type of questions.
  • Make concise notes while studying to revise quickly later on.
  • Understanding the concepts is more important than memorizing formulas. Try to understand the reasoning behind each formula.
  • Take regular mock tests to track your progress and identify your strengths and weaknesses.

Paper Analysis

BITSAT 2023 Session 1 was conducted from 21st May to 26th May 2023 and Session 2 was conducted from 18th June to 22nd June 2023. The difficulty level of the exam according to the test givers was easy to moderate.

Physics Books - Concepts of Physics (Part 1 and Part 2) – HC Verma, Fundamentals of Physics by Halliday- Resnick & Walker; Mathematics Books- Mathematics by SL Loney, Higher Algebra- Hall Knight Bernard; Chemistry Books- NCERT Class 11 & 12 Chemistry Books, Modern Approach to Chemical Calculation- R.C. Mukherjee.
Candidates can prepare by studying and 11th and 12th syllabus and practising previous years' question papers.
BITSAT is considered to be moderately difficult by the test takers.
