IPMAT Cut off

The IPMAT (Indian Institutes of Management Joint Management Entrance Test) cutoff refers to the minimum score or percentile that a candidate must achieve to be eligible for further stages of the selection process. The cutoff marks or percentile are determined by the respective IIMs and may vary each year based on various factors such as the number of applicants, the difficulty level of the exam, and the available seats in the program.

IPMAT (Rohtak) 2022 Cut-off

Category Cut-Off
General 306
EWS 261
NC-OBC 219

IPMAT (Indore) 2022 Cut-off

NC-OBC 75-80
SC 110-120

The cutoff scores or percentiles are announced by the respective IIMs during the result declaration. Candidates who meet or exceed the specified cutoff criteria are shortlisted for the subsequent stages of the selection process, which typically include Written Ability Test (WAT) and Personal Interview (PI) rounds.

Candidates should aim to score well above the cutoff to increase their chances of selection. However, the exact cutoff scores or percentiles are not disclosed publicly by the IIMs, making it challenging to predict the exact cutoffs in advance.

Candidates that score above the cutoff typically have a better chance of being ranked higher because it serves as a screening criterion.
Yes, each IIM offering the IPM program have its own separate cutoff.
