Results

The JEE Mains 2025 Session- 1 result date is on 12th February 2025 and for Session-2 the result date is 17th April 2025. The results for JEE Mains 2025 will be available on the official website of the National Testing Agency (NTA), which conducts the examination. Here are the steps to check your JEE Mains 2025 results:

• Go to the official website of NTA at jeemain.nta.nic.in
• Click on the link for "JEE Main Result"
• Enter your JEE Main 2025 Application Number and Date of Birth
• Click on the ‘Submit’ button.
• Your JEE Main 2025 result will be displayed on the screen.
• Download the result and take a printout for future reference.

NTA usually releases the results within a month after the exam, however, it's best to check the official website for the exact date and time of the result release.

Counselling

JEE Mains 2025 counselling is the process by which candidates are allotted seats in various undergraduate engineering programs at participating institutes based on their JEE Mains scores. The counselling process is usually conducted by the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA), which is set up by the Ministry of Education.

The following is a general overview of the JEE Mains counselling process:

• Online registration: Candidates will need to register online and fill in their preferences for colleges and courses.
• Seat allocation: Based on the candidate's JEE Main rank, availability of seats, and preferences, seats will be allocated to the candidates.
• Reporting to the allotted college: Candidates will need to report to the allotted college and complete the necessary paperwork, including fee payment and document verification.
• Upgradation and sliding: In the case of vacant seats, candidates can apply for upgrading or sliding to a different course or college.
• Final seat allocation: After the completion of the above steps, the final seat allocation will be made.
