JEE MAINS Ranking

India's JEE MAINS is a highly competitive entrance exam for a wide range of engineering colleges and universities. Based on candidates' exam results, JEE MAINS rankings are determined. In JEE MAINS, the All India Rank (AIR) is the main criterion for ranking candidates. It shows how well an applicant performed in relation to all other test-takers across India.

JEE Main has two different cut-offs: a qualifying cutoff and an admission cutoff. The minimal score required for JEE Main 2025 candidates to qualify for JEE Advanced will be included in the JEE Main 2025 qualifying cut-off. The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA), which will announce the admission cutoff for JEE Main 2025, will determine the opening and closing ranks for each institute.

Candidates from different categories (General, OBC, SC, ST, etc.) have different cutoff marks because the cutoff marks are released according to category. The cutoff for the General category of JEE Main 2025 has been increased to 90 percentiles. Candidates are deemed qualified and become eligible for counselling and seat allocation if their score is at or above the cutoff mark. IIT JEE cutoff for 2025 is currently 73.6114227 for OBC-NCL, 75.6229025 for EWS, 51.9776027 for SC, and 37.2348772 for ST. In addition to the announcement of the session- 2 JEE Main 2023 results, NTA also disclosed the JEE Main cut off percentile for 2025.
