CMAT Syllabus 2021

CMAT is on 31st March 2021. It is a tough exam that will test the aptitude, knowledge, and English language skills of the participants. Below are the CMAT Syllabus

The syllabus is divided into 4 sections:

  • Language Comprehension
  • Quantitative Techniques and Data Interpretation
  • Logical Reasoning
  • General Awareness

Majority of the topics of quantitative will cover class 10 level mathematics. Sequence and Series is one of the topics that need consistent observe.

The English section is divided into Verbal Ability and Language Comprehension. This section needs good amount of revision and practise.

Exam highlights:

  • It is consists of Multiple Choice Questions
  • Duration is 3 hours
  • The exam has 4 sections
  • There is no sectional cut off.
  • Each section contains 25 questions
  • Each question carries 4 marks.
  • In total, there will be 100 questions holding 400 marks.
  • For incorrect answers, 1 mark will be reduced.

The syllabus for the test is not strictly pre-defined by AICTE or the National Testing Agency (NTA). It covers all the important topics on which questions are formed in each section.

CMAT syllabus 2021 is based on previous paper pattern, and topics on each of the four sections of the exam which appeared in earlier. The exam is conducted to provide admission to students in various post graduate management programmes. These programmes includes:

  • MBA
  • PGDM
  • Executive PGDM, and
  • PGCM

The CMAT exam is conducted by NTA.
The student who has a bachelor’s degree are eligible to attend an exam.
The duration of the exam is 3 hours followed by the total marks 400.
Yes. The negative answer posses negative marks in the CMAT exam.
The exam carries 4 sections such as Quantitative Aptitude, General Awareness, English, and Logical and Analytical Reasoning.
Every section has 25 questions which are of total 100.

There are no such age restrictions as of now.
The application for General / EWS/OBC-NCL is Rs. 1000, SC, ST, PWD (Male) is Rs. 800, SC, ST, PWD (Female) is Rs. 700
Yes. If the candidate is in the final year can attend the exam.
