IIT JAM Exam Pattern

The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSHSEB) formally publishes the IIT JAM exam pattern on its website. Before beginning their preparation, candidates should be familiar with the exam pattern since it specifies the format of the question paper, as well as the number of questions, time allotted for the test, marking scheme, and other crucial information.

Paper Analysis

The JAM 2023 exam was conducted by IIT Guwahati successfully. In shift 1, 3 papers (MA, CY, GG) were conducted and in shift 2 (BT, MS, PH, EN) four papers were conducted. Paper analysis for the JAM 2023 is tabulated below to give candidates an understanding of the difficulty level of the paper along with it the topics which carried maximum marks are also mentioned. According to the applicants who have attended the JAM 2023 the difficulty level of the paper is moderate to tough.

The JAM question paper is divided into three sections.
No, only section A has negative markings in sections b and c there is no negative marking.
