Paper Analysis

JEE Advanced 2023 Paper Analysis. According to student feedback was like this, the difficulty level of Paper 1 and Paper 2 was very similar, signifying that both papers were difficult. However, some students found it more difficult to complete Paper 1.

  • The exam was scheduled between 9:00-12:00 PM.
  • Students considered the overall difficulty level to be Moderate to Difficult level but not easy.
  • Mathematics paper was difficult compared to Chemistry and Mathematics.
  • JEE Advanced paper 1 was easy compared to paper 2.
  • The questions in mathematics were based on matrices. Furthermore, problems with thermodynamics appeared in physics.

Chemistry Section- questions were balanced from classes 11 and 12. Physical chemistry had topics on Electrochemistry, Thermodynamics, Kinetic theory of gases, Atomic Structure, etc. From inorganic chemistry, questions were from NCERT books. Polymers, Amines, and Oxygen-containing compounds were asked from organic chemistry

Physics section- Questions were asked about thermodynamics, Capacitors, Gravitation, Current Electricity, Rotational motion, etc. for students the difficulty level was moderate.

Mathematics- Students found this section to be tricky and difficult. Questions were from Harmonic Progressions (HP), Probability, Trigonometric Equations, Vectors, Ellipse, Functions, etc. Questions from complex numbers, 3-D Geometry and Conic sections were tough according.

An in-depth knowledge of the subjects and consistent practice is required for JEE Advanced. To determine their level of preparation, candidates should concentrate on understanding their fundamentals, solve past years' papers, and take regular mock exams.
