Law Admission Eligibility criteria

3 Years LLB Course:

  • The candidates should have pursued any Bachelor's Degree from any college recognized by Universities or Boards affiliated with the Government of India.
  • The applicants should possess a minimum aggregate of 45% in their Bachelor’s Program. However, a relaxation of 5% is provided to the candidates belonging to SC / ST / OBC Category.

BA, LLB / BBA, LLB / B.Com LLB:

  • The aspirants must have completed their 2nd PUC / 12th Standard / 10 + 2 level education from any recognized university or board.
  • The applicants must and should possess a minimum score of 50% in the above mentioned qualifying examination. However, a special relaxation of 10% is offered to the students who belong to SC / ST / OBC categories.

Most of the colleges allow admission to the above Legal courses based on the performance of the candidates in the previous qualifying examination. However, a few colleges conduct entrance cum eligibility tests to screen deserving students. Law College in Bangalore's Fee is also affordable and student friendly.

Eligibility Norms for Post Graduate Programs:

Master of Legislative Law (LLM):

  • The candidates must possess a 3 years or integrated 5 years Bachelor’s Degree in Legislative Law (LLB) from any recognized University or Board affiliated with the Bar Council of India (BCI).
  • The applicants should have maintained a minimum score of 50% in their Bachelor’s Degree Program.
  • Students who are in the final year of their Bachelor’s Program and are expected to meet the prerequisites of the Master’s Degree program can also apply.

Eligibility for Doctor of Philosophy in Law (Ph.D):

  • Candidates who have secured a minimum of 55% in their post-graduation degree are eligible to apply.
  • Aspirants who have cleared UGC – CSIR NET / JRF or SLET / GATE and have an experience of at least 1 year as JRF in externally funded major research projects can also apply.

    Three Year LLB: Any degree or equivalent with 45% marks in aggregate and 40% marks for SC / ST candidates only.
